Community Resources
With the support of a grant from the New York State Emergency Management
Office (NYSEMO) and administered by the Town of Dryden, the following
materials have been produced and are available to community groups, organizations,
and gatherings:
- Emergency Information file folder. Folders are available for
distribution at fairs, community events, and to organizations.

EMT Alert refrigerator magnets. These magnetic pockets, which hold personal
medical information, are for use by elderly, disabled, and shut-in residents.

“Heavy Weather” video. High-quality 20-minute weather-preparedness
video with local narrators and information. Available to organizations,
elderly residences, schools, libraries, etc.

Weather Awareness tabletop display. Prepared by the National Weather
Service, this portable display is available to organizations for events
and gatherings.
- Giveaways for adults and children. TompkinsREADY pens, keychains, and
coloring books are available as giveaways at fairs and community events.
