  • Waste Management collects recyclable material placed at the curbside in recycle bins on a weekly basis at no expense to Town of Perinton residents. 
  • Items collected include plastic recyclables, paper, metal cans, glass and cardboard cut in 2 foot by 4 foot lengths and taped or tied in bundles. Visit for more information or call Waste Management at 254-3500

On September 1st, 2015, the Town of Perinton DPW began charging residents a fee to recycle CRT TVs and CRT Computer Monitors. This charge is in response to the fees that our Electronics Recycler charges the Town to properly dispose of these items. We continue to recycle all other types of electronic materials at no cost to our residents. We are committed to the responsible disposal of the hazardous materials found in CRT TVs and CRT Computer Monitors.

Fees For CRT TV And CRT Computer Monitor Recycling:

Cash and Credit Cards**** only

  • CRT Computer Monitor:        $10.00
  • CRT TV ≤ 27":                         $20.00
  • CRT TV > 27":                         $40.00
  • CRT TV - Oversized, i.e.,
  • (Console, Rear-Projection):  $50.00

On May 23, 2011, the Town of Perinton became an Alliance Partner with EWASTE+ for the purpose of recycling e-waste.  This means that Perinton and Fairport residents can drop off electronic waste at our Department of Public Works facility year round.   

Electronic items (see below) may be dropped off at the Department of Public Works facility, located at 100 Cobb's Lane, Monday through Friday from 7:30 am to 4 pm.  No appointment is necessary, but you must stop at our main office located right behind the flagpole and check in at the front desk. At that time you will be asked to show us proof of residency (driver's license) and we will assist you in unloading your items.  For more information, please call our office at (585) 223-5115.
